Discussion on Spindle Sleeve of Compound Crusher

Shaft sleeve is installed on the spindle of compound crusher. So, if it is worn out or scratched, we can change it conveniently. Standard sleeve, used to hold lock nut, generally has screw thread on exterior surface. How to dismantle the spindle sleeve? At first, we take out the hex head screw and junk ring.

Then, at one side of spindle journals, we use a welding gun to cut a joint for 1.6mm to 3.2mm long. Thirdly, we use a chisel to fully separate the joint. Lastly, at the joint, we place a wedge inside and ensure the distance for us to conveniently take out sleeves. Then, how to assemble the spindle sleeve?

On the exterior surface, we can paste the molybdenum disulfide adhesive. Secondly, we heat the sleeve to 150℃ in oil bath. Thirdly, we take the sleeve on spindle until upper end of sleeve is in parallel with that of spindle. When installing sleeve, we should install the plain washers under every lifting lug and use them as retainers.

Before dismantling lug and washer, we should firstly cool sleeve. Fourthly, we firm the junk ring with allen screw and gasket. Torque would reach 2,712 Nm. Fifthly, we take sleeve on spindle and make the extruding part contact with shaft shoulder. Sixthly, when installing lock washer, we should ensure that two lugs are embodied in the tank on upper end of spindle sleeve.

Seventhly, the lock nut should closely adjoin to lock washer. Between lock nut and washer, there should have four fillets with 6mm wide and 152mm long. Price list of compound crusher is on website!
