How to Treat the Hopper of Double Roller Crusher?
During the working process of double roll crusher, hopper is easy to loose weld or crack if being hit by large briquettes of material. If hopper is cracked, materials will leak out and block the roller crusher. Therefore, after being used for two months, hopper needs to be checked or repaired.
Even though iron liner is thickened to 100mm from the primary 20mm, it is still worn out if being hit. If hopper is worn out, materials will leak out. Every month, we need to make a shut-down repair on hopper. During the upgrading process, we extend the primary hopper, change the shape from slop to right-angle.
If hopper is used for 6 months and it still works well, blocking problem of roller crusher will be rightly solved. Right-angle hopper has dead angles inside and furnace slag is easy to be stored inside. Washer with thickness for 400mm can play the role as a buffer. When large briquettes hit washer, hopper is nothing wrong since the washer can alleviate the impacting force.
After materials are discharged out from the roller crusher, they rush at the right ahead and wear the concrete base for 700mm. If we use concrete as fillings, steel plate and rebar will be still nondurable. What’s worse, it is difficult to proceed maintenance in this place. Pit is still there. We weld the steel plate around pit and it can protect the washer in pit. Wear is well controlled.
