For the originally-designed impact crusher, its lower chassis is about 375mm high. Since excircle of rotors exceeds the lower chassis, liners of discharging chute can be rapidly worn out. You need to weld up the worn-out liners for every month. For every half year, you need to change the liners.
Aiming for the above disadvantages, FTM technicians take use of the shut-down period and improve the performance of key parts. At first, FTM widen the upper chassis for 60mm and lower chassis for 110mm. Height of lower chassis should be at least 620mm.
To prolong the service life of liners and protect the surrounding liners, Fote technicians thicken the liners around the rotors to the scope varying from 45mm to 50mm. After arranging the upper chassis and lower chassis to the liners, wear is mostly focused on the two thickened liners, which are located near the feeding mouth of impact crushing machine.
As to the liners and chassis of discharging chute, they are effectively protected. After the above improvements, our customer only changes the liners for twice during ten months. Even though some liners are worn, they can still be used continuously. Being effectively protected by the liners, exterior chassis and discharging chute are still be well kept.
