One sintering plant has two coke powder crushing lines. Coke powders are primarily crushed by two hammer crushers, then secondly crushed by two four-roller crushers. The coke powders, finally produced, are delivered to the batch bin through belt machine for ingredient production.
Since the designing time and using period are too long, two hammer crushers used for coarse crushing have the following problems. Hammer crushers works on strong impacting force. Since hardness of coke powder is poor and hammer crusher works inefficiently, distance between toothed plate and hammer head is large and crushing efficiency is low.
After the coarse crushing, many coke powders with size larger than 20mm do not have been crushed. Due to this, tertiary work has larger pressure. Hammer crusher has many chances to be invalid. Easy-wearing parts like toothed plate, hammer head, external hull and linear plates are rapidly to be worn out. Meanwhile, oil may leak out and bearing may be heated.
Cost for consume and maintain spare parts of hammer crusher is very high. Electric consumption is high and dust on field is heavy. The two limit the high-efficient and low-cost production. All the above problems do not conform to the national policies of energy consumption, environmental protection, low cost and high efficiency.
