FTM Efforts on Working System of a Pyrite Workshop
Near our production plant, there is a pyrite workshop and they use our crushers for secondary crushing. But, after a long period, they confront some problems like rapid wear of easy-wearing parts and difficult maintenance. Aiming at the above disadvantages, we upgrade the two secondary-crushing machines when they stop working.
At first, we widen the upper chassis for 60mm and lower chassis for 110mm. The lower chassis should be widened to 620mm. Linear plates of upper chassis and lower chassis should be arranged newly. What are the major features of upgraded systems? Liner plates around the rotors are thickened to 45-50mm.
The great thickness can prolong the working period of liner plates and protect the surrounded ones. After we repeatedly arrange the chassis to liner plates, the major wear concentrates on the two thickened liner plates, which are near to the feeding mouth. Liner plates at discharging chute and exterior hull can be effectively protected. Besides, we make the maintenance work run more easily.
After 10-month upgrades, liner plates around the rotor are only changed for twice. Even though other plates are more or less worn, they can still be used continuously. Since hull and chute are effectively protected by liner plates, they are still intact. It is clear that this upgrade is very successful and greatly improve the working performance of whole impact crusher.
